For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life?For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
Those who withhold kindness from a friend forsake the fear of the Almighty.To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend, Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
Put to death, therefore, whatever in you is earthly: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry).Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
Let marriage be held in honor by all, and let the marriage bed be kept undefiled; for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you.Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you.

One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends.
The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore.The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”“Now therefore,” he said, “put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.”
