Chinese (traditional)- She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
- This also comes from the Lord of hosts;
he is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in wisdom. - For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. - You are a hiding place for me;
you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with glad cries of deliverance. Selah - For all that is in the world—the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, the pride in riches—comes not from the Father but from the world.

your mercy from me;
let your steadfast love and your faithfulness
keep me safe forever. - You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.
- Abba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not what I want, but what you want.
- The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
- But test everything; hold fast to what is good; abstain from every form of evil.
- You shall be holy to me; for I the Lord am holy, and I have separated you from the other peoples to be mine.

- We have sinned and done wrong, acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and ordinances.
- If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Those who withhold kindness from a friend
forsake the fear of the Almighty. - And he said, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
- For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.
- When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.
- Then the Lord God said, “See, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.
- I have not departed from the commandment of his lips;
I have treasured in my bosom the words of his mouth. - So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that he had done in creation.
- And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.
- Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, says the Lord God, and not rather that they should turn from their ways and live?
- Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that I need. - Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
remove the evil of your doings
from before my eyes;
cease to do evil.
You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Can a woman forget her nursing child,
or show no compassion for the child of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me.Next verse!With image
