Bible Verses about 'Get up'
- How much better to get wisdom than gold,
and good judgment than silver! - Get wisdom; develop good judgment.

Do not ignore the helpless! - The grapevines have dried up,
and the fig trees have withered.
The pomegranate trees, palm trees, and apple trees—
all the fruit trees—have dried up.
And the people’s joy has dried up with them. - You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.
- Fools’ words get them into constant quarrels;
they are asking for a beating. - Then Jesus led them to Bethany, and lifting his hands to heaven, he blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up to heaven.
- Walk with the wise and become wise;
associate with fools and get in trouble. - Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.”

- And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much!
- When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
- And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
- When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.
- So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.
- Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth! - Teach us to realize the brevity of life,
so that we may grow in wisdom. - Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread and fish to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people. They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftovers!
- Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.
- Joyful is the person who finds wisdom,
the one who gains understanding. - I cried out, “I am slipping!”
but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. - The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down.
The Lord loves the godly.
