- The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have, get understanding. - How much better to get wisdom than gold,
to get insight rather than silver! - Get wisdom, get understanding;

- The one who gets wisdom loves life;
the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper. - Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

but a kind word cheers it up. - A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. - But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. - How abundant are the good things
that you have stored up for those who fear you,
that you bestow in the sight of all,
on those who take refuge in you. - Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.
- Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
