- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

- Go, eat your bread with enjoyment, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has long ago approved what you do.
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far he removes our transgressions from us. - May I never boast of anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
- I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - But I trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me. - And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
- But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him.”
- If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right.
- For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
‘I have set you to be a light for the Gentiles,
so that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ - The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for that is the whole duty of everyone.
- You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand has supported me;
your help has made me great.
You gave me a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip. - But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.
- For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.
- All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
- For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down and estimate the cost, to see whether he has enough to complete it?
