- For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.
- And let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.’

and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. - And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”
- For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down and estimate the cost, to see whether he has enough to complete it?
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.
