- He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless. - For he satisfies the thirsty
and fills the hungry with good things. - After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him.

he shows the proper path to those who go astray.
He leads the humble in doing right,
teaching them his way. - God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.
- Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.
- Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.
- He sent out his word and healed them,
snatching them from the door of death. - I love the Lord because he hears my voice
and my prayer for mercy.
Because he bends down to listen,
I will pray as long as I have breath! - The Lord protects the foreigners among us.
He cares for the orphans and widows,
but he frustrates the plans of the wicked. - Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies—
he is the King of glory. - But he was pierced for our rebellion,
crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed. - And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.
- So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desires.
