If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. If we claim that we have fellowship with him while we continue to live in darkness, we are lying and do not live in the truth.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.Rather, grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen.
I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death. All I want is to come to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and to share in his sufferings by becoming conformed to his death.
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.Rather, professing truth and love, we will in all things grow into him who is the head, Christ.

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.But as for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and therefore you do not need anyone to teach you. This same anointing teaches you everything and is true and not false, so abide in him just as he taught you.
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Therefore, he has the full power to save those who approach God through him, since he lives forever to intercede for them.
We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
