By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs. God detests the prayers of a person who ignores the law. Proverbs 28:9	If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination. prayer obedience listening
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever! Psalm 111:10	The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! awe wisdom worship
But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside. I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. The rich think of their wealth as a strong defense; they imagine it to be a high wall of safety. Proverbs 18:11	A rich man's wealth is his strong city, and like a high wall in his imagination. money materialism
Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. Hebrews 1:3	He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. Don’t envy violent people or copy their ways. Such wicked people are detestable to the Lord, but he offers his friendship to the godly.

Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways, for the devious person is an abomination to the Lord, but the upright are in his confidence.
