When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before! Job 42:10	And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. prayer blessing money

But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. Psalm 33:18	Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love. reliability God awe
There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13	Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. love sacrifice friendship
Don’t be concerned for your own good but for the good of others. 1 Corinthians 10:24	Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. selfishness love neighbor
The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. Psalm 103:13	As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. love fear Father
What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. Psalm 33:12	Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! God reward blessing
All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine. Revelation 3:5	The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. Praise the Lord! How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying his commands. Psalm 112:1	Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments! law love awe
For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy. Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. Habakkuk 2:4	Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith. righteousness life reliability
But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside. Job 23:10-11	But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold. My foot has held fast to his steps; I have kept his way and have not turned aside. blameless righteousness
The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs. The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife. 1 Corinthians 7:3-4	The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever! Psalm 111:10	The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! awe wisdom worship
If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it. Matthew 10:39	Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. eternal life suffering life
God detests the prayers of a person who ignores the law. Proverbs 28:9	If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination. prayer obedience listening
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. Ephesians 3:16-17	That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love. faith love Spirit
The rich think of their wealth as a strong defense; they imagine it to be a high wall of safety. Proverbs 18:11	A rich man's wealth is his strong city, and like a high wall in his imagination. money materialism
Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. Deuteronomy 7:9	Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations. reliability law God
Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? Romans 6:3	Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Jesus baptism

So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
