- Sing to God, sing praises to his name;

Father of orphans and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation. - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.
- For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
- He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
- Happy is everyone who fears the Lord,

who seek him with their whole heart. - The Lord is slow to anger but great in power,
and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty.
His way is in whirlwind and storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet. - His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. - For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;
he adorns the humble with victory. - The Lord your God you shall follow, him alone you shall fear, his commandments you shall keep, his voice you shall obey, him you shall serve, and to him you shall hold fast.
- Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
his greatness is unsearchable. - For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. - The human mind plans the way,
but the Lord directs the steps. - The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry. - If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.
- O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever. - She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
- And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- Guarding the paths of justice
and preserving the way of his faithful ones.
