- Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
- Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.
- Thou art my hiding place and my shield:
I hope in thy word. - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
- Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
- There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
- The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - The hope of the righteous shall be gladness:
but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.
- For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
- To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
- Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. - The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
- So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul:
when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward,
and thy expectation shall not be cut off. - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.Next verse!With image
