- For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - I made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- Give justice to the weak and the orphan;
maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute. - Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will also fast as you do. After that I will go to the king, though it is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.
