Though it cost all you have, get understanding. - Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
