- For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

- As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.
- Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the Lord your God disciplines you.
- Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.

or be weary of his reproof,
for the Lord reproves him whom he loves,
as a father the son in whom he delights. - Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
- Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
- For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
