Loving God (2/4)

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness. Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory because of your kindness and faithfulness.
Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for your goodness' sake, O Lord!Be mindful, O Lord, that mercy and kindness have been yours from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my many transgressions, but remember me in your kindness, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord.
For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?For who is God except the Lord? Who is a rock aside from our God?
Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
Do not, O Lord, withhold your mercy from me; let your steadfast love and your faithfulness keep me safe forever.O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me; may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.Only goodness and kindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
But I trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.As for me, I trust in your kindness; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord because he has been good to me.
The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. The Lord will fulfill his plan for me. Your kindness, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the work of your hands.
Rend your hearts and not your clothing. Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing.Rend your hearts and not your garments, and turn back to the Lord, your God. For he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, rich in kindness, and always prepared to relent from punishing.
Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of your possession? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in showing clemency. What god can compare with you, the God who takes away guilt and forgives the transgressions of the remnant of your people? You will not allow your anger to fester forever, for your delight is in bestowing mercy.
For nothing will be impossible with God.For nothing will be impossible for God.
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.Have mercy on me, O God, in accord with your kindness; in your abundant compassion wipe away my offenses. Wash me completely from my guilt, and cleanse me from my sin.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I am not afraid; what can flesh do to me?In God, whose word I praise, in God I place my trust and know no fear; what can people do to me?
Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands and call on your name.Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself; thus my lips will speak your praise. I will bless you all my life; with uplifted hands I will call on your name.
For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, himself a man.
Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning, for in you I put my trust. Teach me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.At dawn let me experience your kindness, for in you I place my trust. Show me the path I must walk, for to you I lift up my soul.
On God rests my deliverance and my honor; my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.My deliverance and my glory depend on God; he is my mighty rock and my refuge.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me.
Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple. If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.
But I will sing of your might; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been a fortress for me and a refuge in the day of my distress. But I will sing of your strength; when morning dawns, I will proclaim your kindness. For you have been my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The love of the Lord is never exhausted, nor do his deeds of mercy ever come to an end. They are renewed every morning; his faithfulness never ceases.
No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is made complete in us.
The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a contrite and humble heart, O God, you will not spurn.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God.

O God, you are my God, I seek you,
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
