Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Makes'
- The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts. - Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. - The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights. - The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters. - The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him. - The blessing of the Lord brings wealth,
without painful toil for it. - Anxiety weighs down the heart,
but a kind word cheers it up. - A wise son brings joy to his father,
but a foolish son brings grief to his mother. - So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
- Dishonest money dwindles away,
but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. - A gift opens the way
and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. - You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
- Whoever conceals hatred with lying lips
and spreads slander is a fool. - What a person desires is unfailing love;
better to be poor than a liar. - As you do not know the path of the wind,
or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb,
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things. - And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
- Hatred stirs up conflict,
but love covers over all wrongs. - We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.
- In their hearts humans plan their course,
but the Lord establishes their steps. - Righteousness exalts a nation,
but sin condemns any people. - A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
- In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
- Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out. - Those who guard their lips preserve their lives,
but those who speak rashly will come to ruin.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city. The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.Next verse!With image
