- Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - I love the Lord, because he hath heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me,
therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. - As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
- What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
- I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
- And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
- If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
- Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day. - Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
- So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. - My son, keep thy father's commandment,
and forsake not the law of thy mother. - For there is not a word in my tongue,
but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. - For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
- But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
- For I know that my redeemer liveth,
and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. - Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not;
neither decline from the words of my mouth. - I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.Next verse!With image
