Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Own'
- But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.
- No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
- In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
- A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
- ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
- Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
- He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
- You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.
- Fools find no pleasure in understanding
but delight in airing their own opinions. - Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones. - Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
- The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.
- Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
do not trust your own cleverness. - So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.
- Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. - It was not by their sword that they won the land,
nor did their arm bring them victory;
it was your right hand, your arm,
and the light of your face, for you loved them. - Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.
- And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.
- All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.
- Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
- His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
- Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious,
but fools are consumed by their own lips.
Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.Next verse!With image
