your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me! - No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
- Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
- Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
- Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
