- I hurry and do not delay
to keep your commandments. - He said to them, “Then do you also fail to understand? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile,
since it enters, not the heart but the stomach, and goes out into the sewer?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.) - The blessing of the Lord makes rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it. - All day long the wicked covet,
but the righteous give and do not hold back. - Better is a little with righteousness
than large income with injustice. - For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
- Welcome those who are weak in faith, but not for the purpose of quarreling over opinions.
- But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
- Those who withhold kindness from a friend
forsake the fear of the Almighty. - If any of you sin without knowing it, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, you have incurred guilt, and are subject to punishment.

The blessing of the wretched came upon me,
and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. - But now, apart from law, the righteousness of God has been disclosed, and is attested by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
- The tongue of the righteous is choice silver;
the mind of the wicked is of little worth. - While Peter was kept in prison, the church prayed fervently to God for him.
- For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation and brings no regret, but worldly grief produces death.
