Chinese (traditional)- Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him. - Here is a trustworthy saying:
If we died with him,
we will also live with him. - The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him.
- Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
- It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.
- Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.” - But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit. - If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.
- So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
- “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
So shall it be! Amen. - I cried out to him with my mouth;
his praise was on my tongue. - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. - Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
- While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
- Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him. - Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near. - Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
- This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles. - God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
- And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
- He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him. - Sing to God, sing in praise of his name,
extol him who rides on the clouds;
rejoice before him—his name is the Lord.
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling.
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.Next verse!With image
