- Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
- This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles. - For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
- All this also comes from the Lord Almighty,
whose plan is wonderful,
whose wisdom is magnificent. - So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
- This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
- “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
- This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.
