Chinese (traditional)- O how abundant is your goodness
that you have laid up for those who fear you,
and accomplished for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of everyone! - In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I am not afraid;
what can flesh do to me? - Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
- And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to put confidence in mortals. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts;
so I am helped, and my heart exults,
and with my song I give thanks to him. - Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.
- Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—
in peace because they trust in you. - And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. - Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God; and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him.
- But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
- Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- Not that I am referring to being in need; for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.
- But I trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me. - Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war rise up against me,
yet I will be confident. - He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - It does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
- Our steps are made firm by the Lord,
when he delights in our way. - For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,
says the Lord, who has compassion on you. - Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you.
- He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken. - I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he is revealed we may have confidence and not be put to shame before him at his coming.
- Do not envy the violent
and do not choose any of their ways;
for the perverse are an abomination to the Lord,
but the upright are in his confidence.
For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you. Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and of spirit, making holiness perfect in the fear of God.Next verse!With image
