Chinese (traditional)This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved). Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts,
which is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in working. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Defend the poor and fatherless:
do justice to the afflicted and needy.
