Chinese (traditional)And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth. But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,
and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
and shall not see when heat cometh,
but her leaf shall be green;
and shall not be careful in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. The wise in heart will receive commandments:
but a prating fool shall fall. The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord;
neither be weary of his correction:
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth;
even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Next verse!With image
