Chinese (traditional)Thus saith the Lord,
Stand ye in the ways, and see,
and ask for the old paths,
where is the good way, and walk therein,
and ye shall find rest for your souls.
But they said, We will not walk therein. Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God. As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. He keepeth the paths of judgment,
and preserveth the way of his saints. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God. For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps. Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. I am sought of them that asked not for me;
I am found of them that sought me not:
I said, Behold me, behold me,
unto a nation that was not called by my name. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. I have taught thee in the way of wisdom;
I have led thee in right paths. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.Next verse!With image
