Chinese (traditional)The Lord will battle for you. Be calm! Abba, Father, for you all things are possible. Take this cup from me. Yet not my will but yours be done. I will instruct you
and guide you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you
and keep my eyes upon you. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees everything that is done in secret will reward you. You have already been cleansed
by the word I have spoken to you. May the favor of the Lord, our God, rest upon us.
And may the work of our hands prosper—
indeed, may the work of our hands prosper. Rejoice with all your heart, O daughter Zion.
Shout for joy, O daughter Jerusalem.
See, your king is coming to you,
triumphant and victorious,
humble and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. When someone sins and does any of the things that the Lord has forbidden, even if he does not realize he did it, he has still committed an offense and must bear his guilt. Do not withhold kindness from anyone to whom it is due
when it is in your power to grant it. Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the eternal God,
the Creator of the earth’s farthest boundaries.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding cannot be scrutinized. I did not hesitate to tell you what was for your benefit as I proclaimed the word to you and taught you publicly as well as from house to house. Blessed is the person who has found wisdom,
the one who has gained understanding. This rather is the type of fast that I wish:
to loosen the fetters of injustice,
to undo the thongs of the yoke,
to set free those who are oppressed
and to break every yoke. For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen. Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze on what lies before you. Let us remain firm in the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy. However, those who want riches fall into temptations and are trapped into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. In much the same manner
will wisdom be sweet to your soul.
If you find it, you will have a future,
and your hope will not be cut off. Therefore, brethren, I implore you by the mercies of God to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God—a spiritual act of worship. We have come to know
and to believe in
the love that God has for us.
God is love,
and whoever abides in love
abides in God,
and God in him. Do not assert that the past was better than the present,
for such a statement is not a sign of wisdom. Every day, united in spirit, they would assemble together in the temple. They would break bread in their homes and share their food with joyful and generous hearts as they praised God, and they were regarded with favor by all the people. And day by day the Lord added to those who were being saved. In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation;
I place my hope in his word. Therefore, we fasted and prayed to God to grant us a safe journey, and he answered our prayer. Jesus answered them,
“My teaching is not my own;
rather, it comes from him who sent me.” Turn away from the mouth that deceives
and keep your distance from lips that mislead. Therefore, you must also be prepared, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Live in harmony with one another. Do not consider yourself to be better than others, but associate with the lowly, and never be conceited. Make your ways known to me, O Lord;
teach me your paths. God abides in anyone who acknowledges
that Jesus is the Son of God,
and that person abides in God. As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. However, if we confess our sins,
he who is faithful and just
will forgive our sins
and cleanse us from all wrongdoing.Next verse!With image
