Chinese (traditional)Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters. The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. But I, with shouts of grateful praise,
will sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will make good.
I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’ Fools give full vent to their rage,
but the wise bring calm in the end. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered. Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” “Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.” Praise the Lord.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with humility comes wisdom. Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple. Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.” Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! I instruct you in the way of wisdom
and lead you along straight paths. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways. I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your commands. Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.Next verse!With image
