- Yahweh’s name is a strong tower:
the righteous run to him, and are safe. - As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to save many people alive, as is happening today.
- By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- Before the mountains were born,
before you had formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God. - God will bless us.
All the ends of the earth shall fear him. - This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
- Therefore you shall keep my commandments, and do them. I am Yahweh.
- For who is God, except Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? - Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!
- This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger,
but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing. - As the deer pants for the water brooks,
so my soul pants after you, God. - Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
- The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.
- Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his loving kindness. - He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- You, Yahweh, remain forever.
Your throne is from generation to generation. - God is not a man, that he should lie,
nor a son of man, that he should repent.
Has he said, and he won’t do it?
Or has he spoken, and he won’t make it good? - Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
- “Can anyone hide himself in secret places
so that I can’t see him?” says Yahweh.
“Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says Yahweh. - God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.
- But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh,
the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
