Chinese (traditional)- For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
- Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.
- He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. - You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
- My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
- On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”
- Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.
- But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.
- And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
- Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
- To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
- I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
- So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
- I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!
- I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
- But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
- It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
- Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man. - For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
- I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
- Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
- To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.Next verse! With image
