- God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble. - For the Lord loves justice,

He protects the lives of his godly people
and rescues them from the power of the wicked. - I cried out, “I am slipping!”
but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. - For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens.
Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. - Therefore, tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: No more delay! I will now do everything I have threatened. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!’
- “For the mountains may move
and the hills disappear,
but even then my faithful love for you will remain.
My covenant of blessing will never be broken,”
says the Lord, who has mercy on you. - Look straight ahead,
and fix your eyes on what lies before you. - For who is God except the Lord?
Who but our God is a solid rock? - He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect.
Everything he does is just and fair.
He is a faithful God who does no wrong;
how just and upright he is! - Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me.
Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me. - The Lord is righteous in everything he does;
he is filled with kindness. - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
listen to my plea!
Answer me because you are faithful and righteous. - He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
