- God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. - For the Lord loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.
Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed;
the offspring of the wicked will perish. - Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you. - Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
- If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
- The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
- Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
- Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. - All hard work brings a profit,
but mere talk leads only to poverty. - For the word of the Lord is right and true;
he is faithful in all he does. - But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
- Let those who love the Lord hate evil,
for he guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. - When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. - For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies. - Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’
- “Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you. - For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze directly before you. - He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he. - Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief. - Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
may your love and faithfulness always protect me. - He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. - The way of the Lord is a refuge for the blameless,
but it is the ruin of those who do evil.
The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does.Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
