- Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
- In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness. - The lips of the righteous know what finds favor,
but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse. - God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
- But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
- I delight greatly in the Lord;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. - Do not envy the violent
or choose any of their ways.
For the Lord detests the perverse
but takes the upright into his confidence. - “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
- This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’
- The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does. - “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.
- Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief. - Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Defend the weak and the fatherless;
uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. - But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.
- Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.
For the Lord is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him! - Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
- For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
- You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
- Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”
- I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!
- He holds success in store for the upright,
he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless. - But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
- My soul yearns for you in the night;
in the morning my spirit longs for you.
When your judgments come upon the earth,
the people of the world learn righteousness. - And if we are careful to obey all this law before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.
Bible verse of the day
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.Random Bible Verse
Let love and faithfulness never leave you;bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.

in the sight of God and man.Next verse!With image
