Bible Verses about '12:13'
- You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’
and rightly so,
for that is what I am. - This is the end of my teaching.
All has been heard.
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for that is the responsibility of everyone. - Hope deferred sickens the heart,
but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life. - For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, Jews as well as Greeks, slaves as well as free men, and we were all given the same Spirit to drink.
- Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love,

The blessing of the wretched was given to me,

- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
- I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
- Indeed, “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- Now who is going to harm you if you are eager to do what is right?
- No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you will all perish as they did.
- Keep alert; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
- Be joyful in your hope. Be patient in times of affliction. Persevere in prayer.
- Blessed is the person who has found wisdom,
the one who has gained understanding. - When you search for me, you will find me. When you seek me with all your heart.
- No one can have greater love
than to lay down his life for his friends. - And do not lead us into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. - And so now, O Israel, what does the Lord, your God, require of you but to fear the Lord, your God, to walk in all of his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, and to observe the commandments and the statutes that I am giving you today for your own good.
- An ignorant man causes strife by his insolence,
but wisdom is found with those who take advice. - This is how everyone will know
that you are my disciples:
if you love one another. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- A wealthy man pays a ransom to save his life;
a poor man never has to worry about such threats. - Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law.
- Then, after completing their fasting and prayer, they laid their hands on them and sent them off.
- Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise,
but he who mingles with fools will suffer harm. - One who gossips reveals secrets,
but a trustworthy man keeps things hidden. - Whatever you ask in my name I will do,
so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. - I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. - Wealth hastily acquired will dwindle away,
but when amassed little by little, it will increase. - Then keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from telling lies. - This is how we can be certain
that we abide in him
and that he abides in us:
he has given us a share in his Spirit. - So if I, your Lord and Teacher,
have washed your feet,
you also should wash one another’s feet. - He who guards his mouth makes his life secure,
but one who talks excessively ensures his own downfall. - Therefore, we can say with confidence:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?” - How much more valuable a man is than a sheep! Therefore, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
- I will place my rainbow in the clouds and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
- Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires.
- For I, the Lord, am your God
and I grasp your right hand.
It is I who say to you,
Do not fear; I will help you. - And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and the scrolls were opened. Then another scroll was opened, the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their deeds, as were recorded in the scrolls. The sea gave up all the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them. The dead were judged according to their deeds.
- But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
- The fear of the Lord implies hatred of evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil ways and perverse speech. - When I fed them, they were satisfied;
when they were satisfied, they became proud of heart
and quickly forgot me. - I give you a new commandment:
love one another.
Just as I have loved you,
so you should also love one another. - Owe nothing to anyone except the debt of love you owe one another. The one who loves others has fulfilled the Law.
- No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper,
but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy. - That is why you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, and they devote themselves to this service.
- Amen, amen, I say to you,
a servant is not greater than his master,
nor is a messenger greater
than the one who sent him.
