- How much better to get wisdom than gold,
and good judgment than silver! - And do everything with love.

In your unfailing love, rescue me. - People may be pure in their own eyes,
but the Lord examines their motives. - Kind words are like honey—
sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. - Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever. - And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”

I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. - Keep the commandments and keep your life;
despising them leads to death. - So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

than to have great treasure and inner turmoil. - They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”
- Those who listen to instruction will prosper;
those who trust the Lord will be joyful. - For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.
- And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.
- Wash yourselves and be clean!
Get your sins out of my sight.
Give up your evil ways. - And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.

- So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.
