- And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
- I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. - He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction:
but he that refuseth reproof erreth. - And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
- And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. - He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

- Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.
- Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
