your faithfulness extends to the clouds. - My child, keep your father's commandment,
and do not forsake your mother's teaching. - Honor the Lord with your substance
and with the first fruits of all your produce. - So those who welcomed his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added.
- So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
- But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and your renown
are the soul's desire.
