Father of orphans and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation. - The law and the prophets were in effect until John came; since then the good news of the kingdom of God is proclaimed, and everyone tries to enter it by force.

May the Lord bless his people with peace! - I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the sharing of his sufferings by becoming like him in his death.

A faithful God, without deceit,
just and upright is he. - O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
