Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Even'
- Even to your old age I am he,
even when you turn gray I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save. - When one will not listen to the law,
even one's prayers are an abomination. - You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder.
- If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- Even fools who keep silent are considered wise;
when they close their lips, they are deemed intelligent. - Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - Even before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, you know it completely. - But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated.
- Look! He is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him;
and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail.
So it is to be. Amen. - Yet even now, says the Lord,
return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. - But fornication and impurity of any kind, or greed, must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints.
- Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what such people do secretly.
- Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I fear no evil;
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff—
they comfort me. - For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died.
- But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
- These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
- By faith he received power of procreation, even though he was too old—and Sarah herself was barren—because he considered him faithful who had promised.
- But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ —by grace you have been saved—.
- For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said,
‘For we too are his offspring.’ - So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
- If the member refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if the offender refuses to listen even to the church, let such a one be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
- Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God's sight. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.”Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
