And my cry came before Him, even to His ears. - Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
- For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
And give ear to my cry;
Do not be silent at my tears;
For I am a stranger with You,
A sojourner, as all my fathers were. - And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.
- And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
- I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was extolled with my tongue. - Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?
- For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
