Bible Verses about 'Help'
- I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord,
which made heaven and earth. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of thy name:
and deliver us, and purge away our sins,
for thy name's sake. - For I the Lord thy God
will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee, Fear not;
I will help thee. - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

- Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. - Because I delivered the poor that cried,
and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.
The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me:
and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. - In my distress I called upon the Lord,
and cried unto my God:
he heard my voice out of his temple,
and my cry came before him, even into his ears. - And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
- Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. - For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear unto my cry;
hold not thy peace at my tears:
for I am a stranger with thee,
and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. - A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.

and he was extolled with my tongue. - Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice:
let thine ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications. - Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - Learn to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed,
judge the fatherless,
plead for the widow. - Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me. - Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. that he may be gracious unto you,
and therefore will he be exalted,
that he may have mercy upon you:
for the Lord is a God of judgment:
blessed are all they that wait for him. - Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
