  • Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
  • Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
  • A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
    and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
