Chinese (traditional)- By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love. - You must diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his decrees, and his statutes that he has commanded you.
- Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. - As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. - Praise the Lord!
Happy are those who fear the Lord,
who greatly delight in his commandments. - But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
- And the Lord God made garments of skins for the man and for his wife, and clothed them.
- Or can one walk on hot coals
without scorching the feet? - Do not seek your own advantage, but that of the other.
- Look at the proud!
Their spirit is not right in them,
but the righteous live by their faith. - So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.

- If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I am commanding you today, by loving the Lord your God, walking in his ways, and observing his commandments, decrees, and ordinances, then you shall live and become numerous, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.
- Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.
- For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven,
for all his works are truth,
and his ways are justice;
and he is able to bring low
those who walk in pride. - Over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
- And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever. - By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
and all their host by the breath of his mouth. - God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
He is the reflection of God's glory and the exact imprint of God's very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
