What can mere mortals do to me? - I have hidden your word in my heart

I have set my heart on your laws. - But I, with shouts of grateful praise,
will sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will make good.
I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’ - Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. - I will praise you with an upright heart
as I learn your righteous laws. - If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
