| For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God. | Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. |
| But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life. | But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. | Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses. |
