Chinese (traditional)- For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.
- God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth. - I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth. - So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.
- I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
- Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,
who daily bears our burdens. - He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
- God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
- Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
- Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.
- You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
- The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever. - Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
- Every word of God is flawless;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.
- Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
- Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
- How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.
- You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
- What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children.
- But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”Next verse!With image
