Chinese (traditional)- Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - I love the Lord, because he hath heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me,
therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. - As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
- Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
- I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
- Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
- What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
- Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day. - Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
- My son, keep thy father's commandment,
and forsake not the law of thy mother. - So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. - For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
- By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
- But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - For there is not a word in my tongue,
but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. - For I know that my redeemer liveth,
and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. - Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not;
neither decline from the words of my mouth. - I have set the Lord always before me:
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.Next verse!With image
