Does not each of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger, and lead it away to give it water? And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen long years, be set free from this bondage on the sabbath day?” When he said this, all his opponents were put to shame; and the entire crowd was rejoicing at all the wonderful things that he was doing.

but love covers all offenses. - Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing at all during those days, and when they were over, he was famished.
- If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If the member listens to you, you have regained that one.
- May God continue to bless us;
let all the ends of the earth revere him. - Look! He is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him;
and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail.
So it is to be. Amen. - Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins.
- Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life.
