Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.For one will hardly die for a righteous person; though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.A generous person will be prosperous, And one who gives others plenty of water will himself be given plenty.

All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”And He was saying, “That which comes out of the person, that is what defiles the person. For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery, deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the person.”
Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit gain honor.A person’s pride will bring him low, But a humble spirit will obtain honor.
If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.
God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”Who will repay each person according to his deeds.
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.

Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.Like a city that is broken into and without walls So is a person who has no self-control over his spirit.
How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.How much more valuable then is a person than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word.
But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.The afflictions of the righteous are many, But the Lord rescues him from them all.
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
A person finds joy in giving an apt reply— and how good is a timely word!A person has joy in an apt answer, And how delightful is a timely word!
A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.One who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, But one who is trustworthy conceals a matter.
Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding.Blessed is a person who finds wisdom, And one who obtains understanding.
There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.There is a way which seems right to a person, But its end is the way of death.
“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)And He said to them, “Are you so lacking in understanding as well? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?” (Thereby He declared all foods clean.)
A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart.Every person’s way is right in his own eyes, But the Lord examines the hearts.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day.
