And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? | Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? |
Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. | Yet I have been the Lord your God ever since the land of Egypt; you know no God but me, and besides me there is no savior. |
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. | He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. |
